Hi there,
We had a packed two weeks, mostly focussed on getting our funding round over the finish. Again, thanks for helping out, all of you. Not completely wrapped up yet so we're have to wait with the champagne and party, but hope to get a chance to invite you soon to celebrate.
We're onboarded a batch of users and – obviously – uncovered a lot of new things to fix. Next to the funding we spent more time on getting all day events right. Some other things:
- Fixed a list of issues with Find a time on Firefox
- Fixed keyboard handling on Windows
- Improved overlapping events rendering
- Improved number of calendars that could influence availability right after signup
- Added a setting to pick a favorite video conferencing to be automatically added to meetings
- Added Command/Ctrl-J hotkey for opening the next virtual meeting
- Calendar now autoscrolls to proposals when hovered over them in the bottom right
- Improved API to protect against edits when events are read only
What's next:
- We now have the building blocks in place to really start working on delivering on our promise to help users regain focustime. In this two-week cycle we'll work on improvements in our Find a time feature, build more clarity in the results to you'll know why we selected those slots and gather more feedback from our users to iterate on that. We also add some more analytics to Find a time to track how it's (not) used.
- Next to improving this feature, we're working on a list of bold bets in this area. One of the initial ideas we have is to use the report feature we've built and run it for each user, every week, to spot possible improvements. This will help us steer the roadmap and possibly we can directly translate the insights to features to have better, more focussed weeks.
- We're continuing to onboard more users, focussing on the four teams that signed. That will be our working group for the next couple of cycles.
- Finally we're preparing our hiring page for the first roles opening up, preparing the funding PR and all the other things necessary to close the round and have the money in the bank.
Thanks for reading, keep your feedback coming and talk to you in two,
